York office

Having operated from a single site for over 125 years, Sintons has expanded into York to help keep pace with its national growth.

The consulting office, in Tower House, is Sintons’ second base, in addition to its headquarters in Newcastle.

Its move into York is a significant move for Sintons, which was founded in 1896, and comes in response to growing client wins and workload from across Yorkshire, the Midlands and wider UK.

The consulting office – situated within the former Army Northern Command Headquarters, which dates from the 1800s – will be a base for client meetings, and is centrally situated in York and within easy reach of the city’s railway station, major road network and surrounding areas such as Clifton, Heworth, Acomb, Dringhouses, Easingwold and many more.

Through its expansion, Sintons is building further on its reputation as one of the leading law firms in the North of England, working across the UK in a number of specialist sectors including healthcare, neurotrauma, private client, and corporate and commercial work.

The full service firm, which is growing strongly throughout the business, already acts for many commercial and public sector organisations throughout Yorkshire, and Sintons has also recently won a coveted appointment to the legal panel of Day One, a support service for hospital patients and their families who have been affected by major trauma. The service, delivered by Leeds Cares in partnership with patients, clinicians and NHS trusts, works across Yorkshire to improve the lives of individuals suffering serious injury.
