‘Very strong’ real estate team hailed by Chambers 2019

The “very strong” specialist real estate team at law firm Sintons has won further endorsement of its “comprehensive” offering, this time from Chambers 2019.

The team, one of the biggest and most capable in the North East, wins praise from Chambers for its wide sector specialism and “impressive” client base, which sees it act on behalf of major businesses and organisations in niche areas including healthcare, retail, leisure, waste and energy. Its agricultural offering is also highlighted.

It is also praised for its capability in a host of areas, particularly in acquisitions and disposals and real estate finance.

Three of the department’s partners – Mark Dobbin, head of real estate; Paul Liddle and Alok Loomba – are hailed as being key names in the North East real estate sector.

The findings of Chambers 2019 come only shortly after similar ratings from Legal 500 2018, which praised the team’s “considerable clout” in the market and its wide breadth of expertise.
