Further expansion for real estate team at Sintons
The specialist real estate department at Sintons has continued its strong growth with the latest in a series of new appointments to the team.
Following the addition of a number of key figures and strategic appointments to its team, Newcastle-based Sintons has expanded again with the appointment of solicitor Alex Wilkins.
Alex’s main areas of expertise include overseeing the sale and acquisition of commercial properties, the day-to-day management of portfolios for institutional investors, and commercial landlord and tenant matters. His appointment further bolsters the team’s ability to meet the needs of substantial commercial property portfolio clients.
He is the latest in a series of specialist lawyers to join Sintons’ real estate team, which is one of the largest and most capable in the North East, and has recently been recognised for its expertise with a triple shortlisting in the North East Property Awards 2019, including for Property Law Firm of the Year.
The team is a market leader locally but also works nationally with an array of major names in real estate, including the Church Commissioners – one of the UK’s biggest commercial landowners, which manages assets worth in excess of £5 billion – and has expertise in an array of niche areas, including healthcare, leisure and hospitality, ecclesiastical, waste, energy and renewables.
