Sintons sponsors annual business showcase event

Law firm Sintons is lending its support to a regional event which provides a forum for businesses to celebrate their success over the past year as well as allowing them to share insights and information, paving the way for their further growth.

The Durham Business Club Annual Member Showcase is now in its eighth year and is recognised as a key event in the organisation’s calendar for enabling businesses to exhibit and showcase their offering and achievements.

This year’s event, held on Tuesday evening in The Ballroom at Ramside Hall Hotel, is being sponsored by Sintons, a keen supporter of Durham Business Club.

Michael Cattermole and Lauren Fraser, both Solicitors in the wills and probate team, will be speaking to delegates at the Annual Member Showcase. Their presentation will focus on lasting powers of attorney, and how they can provide an important safeguard for the personal affairs and business interests of members.

Paul Nickalls, head of the wills and probate team, said: “As a firm, we are keen supporters of the region’s business community, and we are very pleased to be able to lend our support to this event, which is an important annual showcase of the achievements of businesses in County Durham over the past year. We are very pleased to help celebrate their success.

“Sintons are known for being leading advisors to entrepreneurs and businesses on a wide array of matters, and we are always keen to emphasise the importance of looking after your personal affairs alongside taking care of the business. We are very pleased to attend Durham Business Club events to provide informal advice from our friendly and approachable team, which we hope will prove helpful for business owners in their future and succession planning.”
