Law firm Sintons has again given its backing to highly-regarded healthcare awards which celebrate the achievements of the NHS, industry and academia.

The Bright Ideas in Healthcare Awards, now in their 15th year, have built up huge esteem for their recognition of individuals and teams in the North of England’s healthcare sector. The awards highlight the roles these people play in devising innovative solutions to challenges, such as through better service delivery or in technical breakthroughs.

Sintons, whose healthcare team has amassed a national reputation for its expertise and is a specialist and trusted advisor to the NHS and wider healthcare sector, is a long-standing supporter of Bright Ideas in Healthcare and has again pledged its support for 2018.

The awards, to be held in November, are organised by the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC). They are open to NHS organisations, healthcare businesses and academic institutions.

Amanda Maskery, partner and head of NHS healthcare at Sintons, said: “Bright Ideas in Healthcare is rightly regarded as a showcase of the innovative and often nationally and internationally-significant work in healthcare being done here in the North East. It provides recognition for the work of the individuals and teams who are leading these innovations, and serves as yet another reminder of the strength of our expertise in healthcare in the North East.

“Sintons has been a supporter of these awards for several years, and as a specialist advisor to the healthcare sector regionally and nationally, we are very pleased to be involved in this initiative, which shines a light on the outstanding achievement of our region.”
