Can you tell us a bit about your career to date?

I joined a North East solicitors in 2019 to complete an Apprenticeship in the HR Department. I successfully completed this and moved to the NHS the month the Covid pandemic began, where I joined as a HR Assistant. I worked in the Team for approximately two years then was employed as a HR Assistant working on Medical Staffing. In 2023 a progression opportunity became available in my previous team at the NHS to work as a Recruitment HR Team Lead. In March 2026, I joined Sintons as an Executive Assistant in the Commercial Team.

What attracted you to join Sintons?

I have always enjoyed the idea of working in the Legal sector – I find it very interesting as no two days are the same. Sintons has a great reputation and offers career progression opportunities. Also, Sintons is keen to make a positive impact on the environment which I also find rewarding to be a part of.

What does your role involve?

As an Executive Assistant in the Commercial Team, I am responsible for managing complex diaries and schedules and liaising with external clients and contacts, particularly within the healthcare sector. In addition to this, I am responsible for minute taking, preparing agendas, monitoring and completing Tenders by deadlines, billing tasks and coordinating business development and travel arrangements for the Partners within the Team.

What have been your personal highlights to date, both personal and professional?

I bought my own home by the age of 25; I have worked in roles out of my comfort zone and worked in the NHS during the peak of the pandemic – these are all things which have enabled me to have a resilient mindset.

How does Sintons differ from other firms you have worked in?

What stands out the most about Sintons is the positive culture. Everyone is very approachable, supportive and friendly, whilst also upholding a professional and comfortable environment to work in.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy socialising with my friends and family, going out to eat and drink in nice restaurants, going to Pilates and on holidays. I am a dog lover and would love to own one! On occasion, I love to walk in the Countryside, read books and bake.
