Sintons’ team of healthcare lawyers continues to grow, with the appointment of a new partner.
Alison Oliver is nationally recognised as a leading commercial primary care lawyer and for her expertise in the legal frameworks governing the GP and dental sectors. She is also recognised in Chambers and Partners as a leading expert in medical partnerships and is noted as having “huge experience and knowledge in the area”.
She joins the firm following another year of strong growth, as managing partner, Christopher Welch, explains: “In the last 12 months we’ve welcomed more than 40 new colleagues to Sintons, cementing our position as one of the region’s biggest law firms.
“As well as having the size and capacity to deal with the largest, most complex cases, we also have a team that is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for every one of our clients. Alison brings with her a track record and a reputation which we are pleased to be able to add to the team.”
Alison has extensive expertise of working with individual practitioners, practices and multi-practice healthcare organisations, including GP federations and primary care networks.
Her specialisms include advising clients on how to structure and govern their businesses effectively and compliantly; preparing partnership agreements, PCN network agreements and constitutions for GP federations; handling practice mergers, acquisitions and disposals; and advising on the formation and governance of ‘super-partnerships’.
