Deadline for entries to the Bright Ideas in Health Awards has been extended
Health innovators across the region are being urged to enter the Bright Ideas in Health Awards 2019 before the August deadline.
Organised by the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria, the awards celebrate the forward-thinking healthcare ideas that are being developed to improve patient care across the region.
The deadline for entering has now been extended to Friday 16th August. It’s free, and quick, to enter and all shortlisted finalists will be invited to attend the awards ceremony later this year, free of charge.
The Awards, now in its 16th year, are open to all healthcare professionals, including those in Primary and Secondary care, academia, and regional SMEs engaged in healthcare.
The eight categories this year are: Development of an Innovative Device or Technology, Digital Innovation in Health and Social Care, Demonstrating an Impact upon Patient Safety, Demonstrating an Impact upon Quality Improvement, Outstanding Research Collaboration with the NHS, Innovation Champion Award, Early Diagnosis and Precision Medicine Award, and Innovation in Education Category.
