Leading law firm Sintons has further accelerated the growth of its nationally recognised family law department with the appointment of Trevor Gay as a Senior Associate.
The appointment marks another significant milestone for the firm’s family team, which has seen rapid expansion in 2026. Trevor’s arrival follows closely on the heels of Ben Linklater, who recently joined the firm as a Solicitor, as Sintons continues to attract high-calibre talent to meet a record surge in instructions.
Trevor brings over 20 years of legal expertise to the firm, including 15 years specialising exclusively in family law. Having qualified as a solicitor in Hertfordshire, he spent two decades practicing in London and the Home Counties, handling high-stakes matrimonial matters in some of the UK’s most competitive legal markets.
Since relocating to the North East 10 years ago, Trevor has become a prominent figure in the region’s legal landscape, building a formidable reputation across Newcastle, Northumberland, and County Durham. His practice covers the full spectrum of family law, with particular expertise in complex divorce proceedings, financial settlements following separation, and sensitive child arrangement orders.
