The Government have announced a new 12 stage Code of Practice to tackle sexual harassment at work
Following the #metoo campaign there has been an increasing spotlight on sexual harassment in the work place. Research has found that 40% of women (and 18% of men) have experienced unwanted sexual behavior at work (ComRes, in their 2017 research for the BBC).
In response to the growing concerns the government has launched a package of 12 announcements aimed at tackling sexual harassment in the workplace. Please see the Government announcement by clicking here. The package includes consultations on non-disclosure agreements and how to strengthen and clarify laws in relation to third party harassment.
