Employment team attracts further praise with Chambers 2018 ratings

The specialist employment team at Sintons has been hailed as one of the best in the North East by Chambers 2018.

The team was praised for its “breadth of knowledge” which enables them to “offer a wide range of services that match the varied needs of business”. Its breadth of work – which sees them act for major public sector clients, NHS Trusts, charities, businesses and a host of other organisations – was also highlighted as a significant factor.

Keith Land, head of employment, was again rated as a Band One lawyer – one of the very best practitioners in the region – for his work.

Chambers found he has a “deep understanding of employment law and a pragmatic approach to the various issues….he is a pleasure to deal with”, and further praised his expertise in reorganisations, TUPE and discrimination claims, adding that he was a highly effective operator in both the public and private sectors.

The praise for the team follows the recent findings of Legal 500 2017, which also hailed the “exceptional” work of the employment department.
