An employment law event which regularly attracts hundreds of people from across the region is this year holding a second session, after demand for the initial event exceeded the number of places available.
The Annual Employment Law Update, organised by law firm Sintons and Reed HR, reviews the past 12 months in the world of employment law and HR, and looks at what is to come and the likely implications of that for businesses.
The insightful, practical advice it offers, alongside the wide range of topics it tackles, has made the event a must-attend for professionals across the region.
This year, capacity was reached for the initial event, held on October 17 at St James’ Park, so a second session has now been organised for November 7 at the same venue.
Speakers at the seminar will again include Keith Land, head of employment at Sintons, who is regularly acknowledged as being one of the leading employment lawyers in the region.
Keith said: “The event has been growing each year, with increasing numbers of people from across the North East attending. For the maximum capacity to be reached, and the fact we are scheduling a second date to accommodate the levels of attendees, is hopefully indicative of the clear and direct analysis and advice we offer.
“Our aim is to provide relevant and insightful information to anyone whose role involves any kind of employment law or HR responsibility, to ensure they are aware of, and are compliant with, new introductions during the last 12 months, and have on their radar what is set to come.
