Dispute Resolution team continues to grow with appointment of new Solicitor
The dispute resolution team at law firm Sintons continues to grow with the appointment of a new specialist litigation solicitor.
Cristina Falzon joins the department – which was recently named Litigation and Dispute Resolution team of the year at the Northern Law Awards – at a time of significant growth, with new instructions coming from across the UK on the back of its quality of work and reputation.
Cristina, who joins from another Newcastle law firm, is a commercial litigation specialist, advising on all aspects of property litigation, including professional negligence, company disputes and partnership disputes, breach of contract matters and breach of confidentiality.
She has extensive litigation experience and has represented clients in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
The appointment of Cristina comes at a time of rapid growth for Newcastle-based Sintons across all areas of the business, with recruitment of outstanding legal talent being at the heart of its Strategy for Growth. Its commitment to excellence and its ongoing development was cited as a key reason for Sintons being named Law Firm of the Year at this year’s Northern Law Awards.
Angus Ashman, head of the dispute resolution team at Sintons, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Cristina at a time of strong development for our department. We are seeing a very significant rise in our case load, including a number of new instructions from throughout the UK, and we continue to grow our team as a result.
“Cristina is a well-known litigation specialist with a strong reputation for her work and her expertise and experience will strengthen our team even further.”
