‘Strong’ banking team praised by Chambers
The team has established a strong reputation across the North East and beyond, acting for both lenders and borrowers on banking and finance transactions.
It is also known as a leader in its field in real estate finance matters, where Chambers hails it as being particularly strong.
Sintons’ breadth of client base is also highlighted, with expertise across banking, health and social care, with presence in many others.
Chambers quotes that Sintons’ banking clients are “always made to feel like a priority” and praises the team’s ability to be “responsive and turn things around quickly”.
Head of practice Jane Meikle is again named as a key lawyer in her specialist field, with “significant experience” in advising clients on real estate finance, refinancing and corporate finance matters.
“Jane is highly focused on customer service and project delivery…she is an excellent banking lawyer with a strong technical understanding. She has the added ability to explain technical issues in plain language,” quotes Chambers.
The findings from Chambers come only weeks after similarly strong ratings from Legal 500 2023, which praised the team’s capability and particularly its support of clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Christopher Welch, managing partner of Sintons, says: “We are well known and highly respected in the marketplace for our expertise in banking and are regularly instructed by major businesses and lenders.
“We continue to grow in both size and presence, and our reputation is second to none.
“This recognition of our commitment to delivering legal and client service excellence is well earned and well deserved, and comes only weeks after Legal 500 reported similarly outstanding levels of service, giving more independent endorsement of what we are delivering here.”
