Sintons’ ‘nationally recognised’ specialism supports tech sector growth

Law firm Sintons has won praise from Chambers and Partners 2023 for its “nationally recognised” specialism in supporting the tech sector.

Sintons is well known for its support for both established and fledgling tech firms, says Chambers, with renowned expertise in education and healthtech, acting for a broad range of public sector clients.

The firm’s IT specialism wins praise for its value for money approach, with Chambers stating that Sintons “offers pragmatic and accurate advice….(they are) excellent at communication”.

Senior associate Chloe Dinsdale is highlighted for her work in commercial IT contracts, with “particular expertise” in public sector technology matters.

“Chloe is an excellent lawyer…extremely skilled, knowledgeable and pragmatic,” quotes Chambers.

The strong ratings from Chambers come only weeks after the release of Legal 500 2023, which similarly found Sintons to be a leading advisor in the support of tech firms regionally and across the North.

Christopher Welch, managing partner at Sintons, says: “Sintons has a strong reputation for its work in supporting businesses operating within the tech sector, supporting from pre-startup to international expansion. Our advisors are with them at every step on their journey, and we have a long track record in supporting tech businesses to achieve their potential.

“To receive such positive endorsement of what we do from Chambers is great news, particularly coming so soon after the findings of Legal 500, which also pointed to Sintons’ work in helping the tech sector to thrive across the North East and beyond. This is further independent evidence of the outstanding work of our team in this area.”
