Praise across the board for Sintons’ commercial team from Legal 500 2017
The team at Sintons, which comprises the whole gamut of commercial work, acts for clients regionally and nationally on a host of matters, and was praised by Legal 500 for its excellence throughout. Particular praise was given to its top-ranked healthcare team, which was hailed by Legal 500 as being “a true leader in the healthcare field”.
The commercial team was also judged to have two of the leading lawyers in the North of England – Karen Simms, head of company and commercial, and head of NHS healthcare Amanda Maskery – alongside Emma Pern, who was named a ‘next generation lawyer’ for her potential in the commercial field.
In addition to healthcare, Sintons’ banking and finance team was singled out for praise. Led by Jane Meikle, head of banking, the team was hailed as being “strong and experienced” whose “excellent ethos and helpful approach and very customer focused service means that clients trust its advice implicitly”.
Charities is another area to win praise, with the “truly excellent” team said to be a “pleasure to work with”. The firm has an array of charity clients throughout the region and beyond.
Legal 500 is widely regarded as the clients’ guide to the best law firms and top lawyers in the UK. Research is based on feedback from clients, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading lawyers and a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the market.
Mark Quigley, managing partner of Sintons, said: “Our commercial team is known for its capability and commitment to client service and are trusted advisors to a host of clients from a range of sectors. We are very pleased to again be recognised by Legal 500 for our strength in this area.
“Our vision as a firm is to set the standard for legal excellence and in doing so to become the law firm of choice for individuals, businesses and organisations regionally and nationally. Our commercial team is just one area in which we are making great strides towards achieving that.”
