‘Excellent’ banking team hailed by Chambers 2019

The specialist banking and finance team at law firm Sintons has been hailed as one of the leaders in its field in the North East by Chambers 2019.

Chambers ranked the team highly for its strong levels of expertise and client service, highlighting its “excellent” service levels and response times, as well as its commercial nous and deep knowledge of the market. The team won praise for its strong reputation, particularly with regard to real estate acquisition finance.

Jane Meikle, head of banking at Newcastle-based Sintons, was hailed as both a notable and up-and-coming practitioner for her outstanding capability. She is praised for being “very strong technically” and for her “great depth of understanding of the banking market”.

The high rating from Chambers comes only shortly after the publication of Legal 500 2018, which similarly hailed the excellent levels of legal advice and client service from Sintons’ banking team.
