What is a will?

A will is a legal document which describes who will receive your assets after your death and would normally cover bank accounts, investments, your home and personal possessions as well as setting out your funeral wishes. It also enables you to appoint guardians to look after young children

Mirror wills

A mirror will is the term used to describe wills made by spouses or partners in which the terms of each will reflect the other i.e. they mirror one another. For example, a married couple who wish to leave everything to each other and then on the death of the survivor to their children are said to make mirror wills.
