Ben joined Sintons in May 2026 as a solicitor in the Family Team.
Ben practises in a broad range of private family law matters. Since qualifying, he has had a strong focus on working in private children proceedings, including cases of a complex nature. Alongside his work in private children cases, Ben regularly works on financial remedy cases, divorce and cases where there are concerns/allegations of domestic abuse.
Ben understands that client’s seeking his advice often need an empathetic approach to their case. He enjoys working with clients closely to navigate the complex world of family law.
Experience:
- Ben qualified as a Family Law solicitor in September 2025
- While training, and since qualifying, he has worked on Family Law cases in Cumbria and the North East. Before joining Sintons, he worked for the largest solicitors partnership in Cumbria
- Ben has a Master of Laws Degree with Distinction from the University of Sunderland, as well as a First Class Law Degree from Northumbria University.
Outside of work, you can normally find Ben in a bookstore trying to find new additions to his ever-growing collection for the library he one day hopes to build. Failing that, you’ll probably find him drinking coffee somewhere while reading a book from his ever-growing collection.
