Law firm Sintons is continuing its longstanding commitment to supporting the next generation of legal talent, with four new trainees taking their first seats with the firm this week.
Daniel Earle, Charlotte Gunn, and Ben McMurdo are all beginning their training contracts with Sintons, a two-year process during which they will work in departments across the firm to develop their legal knowledge and capability. Charlotte Johnston started her training contract in September 2020.
Under the guidance of some of the leading lawyers in the North of England, they will build their careers ahead of expected qualification in 2023.
All have previously been with Sintons as paralegals, to gain experience and knowledge of working at Sintons and operating in a legal environment.
Daniel will start his Sintons traineeship in corporate, commercial and healthcare; Charlotte Gunn will work in real estate; and Charlotte Johnston and Ben will both take seats in neurotrauma.
While the firm welcomes four new trainees, it maintains its commitment to its existing cohort, who move into the second year of their studies and move to new departments as they move further towards qualification.
Rose Foster will move into wills, trusts and probate; Ellen Marriott will take a seat in dispute resolution; and Lewis McKeown moves into real estate.
For many years, Sintons – marking its 125th anniversary this year – has been known for its deep commitment to young talent, offering ongoing opportunities within the firm to both graduates and solicitor apprentices, as well as potential for them to progress. Indeed, there are several examples of current partners at Sintons who began their career with the firm as trainees.
