Three new trainees at Sintons
Three new trainee solicitors have been taken on at law firm Sintons, as part of its commitment to supporting aspiring legal talent in the region.
Matthew Holbrook, Lucy Robson and Rebecca Stapely have secured training contracts at the leading Newcastle firm after being chosen through an extensive selection process involving many applicants.
Matthew, from Newcastle, is already familiar at Sintons through working as a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution department since October last year. He has now been appointed as a trainee solicitor after achieving his LPC legal qualification from Northumbria University.
Lucy joins Sintons having studied at the College of Law in York, and has taken her first seat in the firm’s nationally renowned Defendant Personal Injury department. Originally from North Yorkshire, Lucy has wanted to join Sintons since taking part in its Vacation Scheme for legal students.
Rebecca has taken on a role in Sintons’ highly respected Personal and Family department, following her achievement of her LPC from Northumbria. The trainee, who hails from Darlington, graduated from Queen Mary University in London, but returned to her native North East to complete her legal training and secure a role at one of the region’s leading firms.
Phil Ridley, Practice Director at Sintons, said: “Part of our continuing success depends on recruiting and supporting emerging young talent, and we have many examples of trainees who have gone on to enjoy long and successful careers with us.
“We wish Matthew, Lucy and Rebecca the best of luck and are confident they will make great progress with us here.
