Sintons has once again been selected as a legal partner of the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT), which supports families and professionals working with children who have experienced a brain injury.
Sintons has been a CBIT legal partner since 2019 and not only provides legal support to families but also helps them access rehabilitation and adaptations needed after a serious injury.
Andrew McGowan is head of Sintons’ neurotrauma department, and explains: “People are often surprised at the breadth of support we can offer to families in the aftermath of accident or injury.

CBIT works closely with Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary and the support it provides includes counselling, support for siblings, and advice on accessing benefits and returning to education.
The charity has also created a network of trusted legal partners, with Sintons representing the North East.
