Sintons recognised for capability across the board by Chambers 2020
Law firm Sintons has been hailed by Chambers 2020 for its strength and capability throughout the firm, only weeks after winning similar praise from Legal 500.
Chambers has named Sintons as a stand-out specialist advisor in the North in ten key areas of the business, with its healthcare team again being named as being as a leader in its field nationally.
Eighteen of its lawyers have also been highlighted for their work, with several being named as Associates to Watch and Up and Coming lawyers, in recognition of their potential and achievements to date.
Jane Meikle, head of banking, and head of construction & engineering Alex Rayner, were both named as Up and Coming lawyers.
Kate Nicklin, neurotrauma associate, and tech specialist senior associate Lucy Carlin, have again been recognised as Associates to Watch.
The rankings from Chambers come only shortly after similar wide-ranging praise from Legal 500 2019, which hailed Sintons as a leading name in the North of England across the board.
Chambers and Legal 500 are both highly regarded independent assessments of law firms and lawyers across the UK, based on interviews, examples of work and client testimonials.
Mark Quigley, managing partner of Sintons, said: “We are delighted with this recognition from Chambers 2020, which quite rightly acknowledges the capability, expertise and experience we have across the firm, and the achievements and potential of so many of our lawyers. It concurs with the recent rankings from Legal 500 2019 in naming Sintons as one of the leading law firms in the North of England, and acknowledges the continuing efforts we are making in developing Sintons even further.
“Our Strategy for Growth underpins the progress we are seeing in practice areas across the business, and has been supported by many new client wins and an ongoing recruitment drive, which has seen lawyers relocate from across the UK to join us. Our vision is to set the standard for legal excellence, and in doing so to become the law firm of choice for individuals, businesses and organisations regionally and nationally, and this latest recognition of the strong progress we are making is very pleasing indeed.”
