Two leading lawyers at Sintons have been promoted to become partners in the firm in recognition of their work in their specialist fields.
Louise Masters and Emma Saunders are both now partners in Sintons, with effect from 1st April 2021, having impressed with their expertise, dedication to clients and success in developing their departments.
Louise has been with the firm for over 6 years and is a family law specialist acting in matters across the UK and internationally, often involving high-profile and high net worth individuals in cases with significant and complex assets.
She was also instrumental in the creation of Sintons’ family neurotrauma offering, unique in the regional marketplace, which advises clients who have sustained life-changing injuries on the implications of that on their family circumstances and the impact of any financial award.
Emma joined Sintons over 3 years ago and is a specialist in contentious private client work, advising on disputes arising from wills and trusts including will challenges, administration disputes and contested Court of Protection matters.
Having moved from a leading London law firm to take her role at Sintons, Emma – consistently rated as a leader in her field by both Legal 500 and Chambers – has helped to grow the firm’s presence and capability in contentious work significantly.
“Louise and Emma are both outstanding lawyers, who are huge assets to the firm. We’re very pleased to reward their dedication with promotion to the partnership,” says Christopher Welch, managing partner.
“Both Louise and Emma have worked extremely hard in their respective fields to deliver an outstanding legal and personal service to their clients, which is hugely important given the sensitive nature of the matters they are often both involved in.
“They have both played an active role internally in supporting their colleagues and the growth of their departments, investing huge amounts of time and effort in growing our presence on both a regional and national level.
“The success of any firm is always down to the people who work in it. I am very pleased that we have such dynamic individuals providing services to our clients and look forward to working alongside Louise and Emma as we continue to plan the future of Sintons.”
