On October 10th a team made up of Sintons Personal Injury and Neurotrauma lawyers will be lacing up their walking boots ready for the Helvellyn Starlight Trek 2026.
Sintons trek team comprises of Senior Associate Nicki Waugh, Associate Ellie Marriott, Partners Alastair Elliott and Mark Quigley and Solicitors Ashleigh Smith and Shereen Brogan.
The team aim to fundraise for Day One Trauma Support and will be making a 950m ascent up Helvellyn by daylight, aiming to be at the summit at sunset before facing the challenge of retracing their route in darkness.
Throughout their work in the fields of Personal Injury and Neurotrauma, the participating lawyers have seen firsthand how vital the work Day One Trauma Support is in supporting clients and their families.
Nicki says, “Day One Trauma Support is a charity and receives no government or NHS funding. We know how important Day One’s work is in helping our clients and their loved ones access care and support when they’ve experienced catastrophic injury.”
She adds, “Every pound we raise will go towards helping people who have suffered life-altering injuries. We have all seen how Day One can impact people’s lives so what better cause to trek for?”
