The specialist neurotrauma team at law firm Sintons is continuing its support of a much-loved children’s charity through holding another event to raise vital funds for its work.
Sintons has arranged a race night, in aid of the Child Brain Injury Trust, on March 7 – the latest in a series of successful events which have raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
The Child Brain Injury Trust is a national charity, which supports young people and their families adapt to life after an acquired brain injury, and with which Sintons’ neurotrauma team has a close relationship. The team was last year named as the Child Brain Injury Trust’s sole North East legal services provider, in recognition of its outstanding legal capability combined with the levels of service and support it offers to clients.
To help fund its work across the North East and beyond, Sintons has organised a number of events, including a quiz, family Christmas cinema screening, support of the charity’s Glow Week initiative, and the neurotrauma team completing the Peak District Challenge.
The race night will be hosted by neurotrauma senior litigator Christopher Spoors and promises to be another informal and enjoyable evening.
John Davis, consultant in Sintons’ neurotrauma team, said: “The Child Brain Injury Trust is a charity I have had the privilege of working with for many years now and myself and the team at Sintons are delighted to support them however we can, so they are able to continue their outstanding support of children, young people and their families at a time they need it most.
“Our race night is the latest in a series of events we have held and promises to be every bit as successful. We would encourage people to come along, enjoy themselves in really friendly atmosphere, and know they are supporting a really great cause.”
