Sintons invest in electric vehicle
Law firm Sintons has invested in an electric vehicle, as the latest step in its ongoing environmental commitment.
Newcastle-based Sintons has added a Nissan Leaf to its portfolio of company cars and has branded it with the firm’s livery.
The zero-emission vehicle is now in active use by staff at Sintons, and the firm’s headquarters at The Cube, on Newcastle’s Barrack Road, now boasts two electric vehicle charging points.
Sintons has a strong CSR and environmental commitment, which has seen it invest significantly in technology – most recently a new firm-wide printing system – to reduce its carbon footprint.
The business also has a reputation as one of the leading law firms in the environmental sector, acting for a host of clients who work in areas like eco-friendly regeneration and wind farm development.
Mark Quigley, managing partner at Sintons, said: “We are deeply committed to supporting the community and environment in which we work and have made significant investments as a firm in reducing our carbon emissions. The purchase of our branded Nissan Leaf is one part of that, and it is a visual demonstration of the work we are doing in becoming even more environmentally-friendly.”
