Sintons hires Marketing Apprentice
Law firm Sintons has continued its commitment to offering opportunities to young people by taking on another new apprentice.
Robert Dale has joined the Newcastle-based firm as a marketing apprentice, working on all aspects of marketing, events and PR in Sintons’ specialist in-house team.
The 20-year-old, who gained A-levels and a BTech from Sunderland College, was chosen for the role after impressing with his commitment and keenness to learn.
Robert becomes the latest apprentice to be employed by Sintons, following the appointment of two legal apprentices last year through the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship (NESA) programme. Sintons was a founder member of the initiative, which offers young people an alternative route into law, and is now set to employ further apprentices through the 2018 NESA programme.
Robert, from Washington, said: “An apprenticeship appealed as you know you are going to learn while you work, and you can continue to learn and keep on pushing to develop yourself all the time. Sintons has an amazing marketing team and every day I am learning new things, I am being taught by great people and I’m very keen to progress.
“From my first interview at Sintons, I had a good feeling about the place, and from then on it was the only place I wanted to work. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work here and I look forward to developing my career at Sintons.”
David Pritchard, marketing manager at Sintons, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Robert to the team. We were impressed by him from his first interview and he has settled in very well, he has a real willingness to learn and a commitment to every task he takes on.
“We see the addition of an apprentice to the team as a very valuable asset. We are helping Robert to develop himself and his career while also developing the future of marketing at Sintons. It is very rewarding to invest time in someone at an early stage of their career to help them achieve their ambitions, and I have every confidence Robert will enjoy a successful career in marketing.”
