Sintons’ business team attracts praise from the 2016 Legal 500
The business team at Sintons has attracted praise from Legal 500 2016 for its strong capability and commitment to clients.
Across its whole range of services, Sintons is named as being among the leading law firms in the North of England.
In corporate and commercial, Sintons was again named as one of the best around. The team – led by Karen Simms, who is named one of the leading individuals in the North – works extensively in major deals involving clients regionally and nationally. It and was praised for its ability to “regularly handle high-value corporate transactions in the financial services, energy, waste, care and leisure sectors”.
The dispute resolution team was commended for its “excellent contract and construction law litigation skills” and the insolvency and corporate recovery team was also praised for its expertise across the board.
Banking and finance was praised for the “excellent service” it provides to clients, and Sintons’ real estate team was also highlighted for its “knowledgeable, efficient and committed” team.
In agriculture and estates, Sintons was rated highly for its knowledge and capability across a wide range of rural issues. Department head Tom Wills was singled out for his “high quality advice relating to landlord and tenant issues”.
Employment is also praised for its work with key clients, with department head Keith Land said to “stand out for his pragmatic approach”.
