Sintons appoints new partner and three senior associates

A new partner and three new senior associates have been promoted by law firm Sintons.

David Ferguson has been made a partner in Sintons in recognition of his work in real estate finance.

David, a highly-respected name in this area of work with over 20 years’ experience, has helped to significantly develop Sintons’ presence in real estate finance, working closely with the firm’s real estate and banking teams to build their reputation even further.

He becomes the 32nd partner in Newcastle-based Sintons.

In a further raft of promotions, Paul Collingwood, Lewis Couth and Louise Masters have all been named as senior associates.

Paul is a senior member of Sintons’ wills and probate team; Lewis has played a central role in the growth of the firm’s dispute resolution department; and Louise is a highly-esteemed specialist matrimonial lawyer.

All of the new appointments take effect from today.

Mark Quigley, managing partner of Sintons, said: “At Sintons, we are committed to developing and investing in our people so they can progress their careers with us and fulfil their potential. We are very proud of our track record in supporting our lawyers so they can enjoy long and successful careers at Sintons.

“We are delighted to reward David’s efforts with promotion to our partnership, and the work of Paul, Lewis and Louise with promotion to senior associate. All four have delivered the legal excellence we strive to achieve alongside the outstanding levels of client service we are known for, and their recognition is very well deserved.”
