Sintons achieve significant increase for whiplash victim

A young mother-of-two who was injured in a car accident received more than double her expected pay-out after instructing law firm Sintons.

The woman sustained a whiplash injury in the collision, and was offered a non-negotiable £1,600 by the other driver’s insurers.

The Personal Injury team at Newcastle law firm Sintons pursued the case to court and the woman was awarded over £3,400 – more than double the initial offer.

She said: “This is a fantastic result for our client. Prior to the hearing, the defendant’s insurers had only offered £1,600 and refused to negotiate. At the hearing, the Judge stated that defendant’s arguments were not logical, and accepted my arguments regarding the value of the claim.
