North East lawyer elected Vice Chair
Amanda Maskery, partner in Sintons’ Healthcare Group, has been elected Vice Chair of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD), a leading network of professionals advising dentists on commercial and regulatory matters.
Over the last three years Amanda has acted in more than 100 transactions in the dental sector throughout the UK and is the first woman to be elected to this position.
Amanda commented: “ASPD’s member firms are widely consulted and regarded as trusted advisors by many of the 11,000 dentists in the UK and have the expertise to deal with the increasing complexity in the dental sector such as Primary Care Trust negotiation, Care Quality Commission registration, the proposed new NHS contract, and the opportunities created by the sale and acquisition of dental practices.
“The healthcare sector is in the midst of regulatory upheaval and primary healthcare providers such as dentists need to know that their advisors have a strong understanding of the challenges they are facing.”
