Three of Sintons’ trainees have qualified as solicitors at and will remain with the firm.

Following their training contracts, Annabelle Lee, Caitlin Edwards and Jamie-Lee Nixon will begin their new roles in their respective teams.

Annabelle will be joining the Corporate team which will see her support with deals, acquisitions and business restructures.

Caitlin will be working in the Court of Protection team where she will undertake work connected to assisting clients who may lack the mental capacity to make legal decisions.

Jamie-Lee is due to join the Employment team and will be working to support clients across all workplace matters ranging from policy making, advice about training, implementing the latest legal changes in a business setting and helping employers protect their workforce and their future.

These appointments mark the culmination of a two-year period of hard work during their traineeships for all three newly-qualified solicitors.

Sintons Managing partner Christopher Welch congratulated the former trainees on their new roles: “We’re proud to see Annabelle, Caitlin and Jamie-Lee achieve qualification as solicitors and delighted that they will continue – like many others before them – to begin their legal careers at Sintons.”

“At every stage of their training, they have shown dedication and diligence.”

Every year, Sintons takes on trainee solicitors through its training contract recruitment programme, and  a solicitor apprentice through the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship consortium.

Both trainees and apprentices are supported throughout their training by the firm’s experienced team and spend time working within different specialist departments.

“We support our people at all stages of their careers,” adds Christopher. “Now Annabelle, Caitlin and Jamie-Lee are fully qualified solicitors, they’ll continue to benefit from Sintons’ culture of learning and development that exists across the firm.”
