Charity Dog Walk

Please find below terms and conditions relating to the 5km charity dog walk (the event) being held on 28th September 2022 on Newcastle Quayside, to raise money for The People’s Kitchen Newcastle, as set out in the below invitation.

Terms and Conditions

1. All dogs are the responsibility of the attendee for the duration of the event, including any travel to and from the event, and not that of Sintons LLP
2. In registering your dog, Sintons LLP has relied on your representation that your dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog prior to this event
3. Dogs that participate must be up to date with their relevant vaccinations
4. No more than 2 dogs per handler are allowed
5. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
6. You must bring a supply of poop bags and are responsible for cleaning up any faeces from your dog. You are also responsible for the correct disposal of said faeces (a legal requirement in any event)
7. You are responsible for all your own rubbish which should be taken home with you or placed in correct refuse collection containers
8. You agree to bring adequate water for yourself and your dog(s)
9. ‘Doggy bags’ supplied by Sintons LLP or the purposes of the event are accepted at owners discretion
10. You agree to notify Sintons LLP immediately of any unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour of their dog that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual
11. You and your dog(s) must be physically fit and able to complete the event. If you or your dog have a medical condition which could be affected by exercise, please obtain your vet’s and/or doctor’s approval before participation
12. Sintons LLP and/or volunteers may take photos of the walk for publicity purposes. If you do not want your photograph to be used, please let us know in advance
13. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence and/or (ii) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law
14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or their subject matter or formation

Entrance Fee  

1. The entry fee is £10 per dog
2. Payment for the event should be made prior to the date of the event via Sintons Just Giving Page
3. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Sintons LLP’s designated charity The People’s Kitchen
