Business Systems Developer – Job Description

Reports to:                         Business Systems Manager

Main Activities:

  • To assist in the design, development and maintenance of Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems for all departments within the practice.
  • To produce and maintain standard documents in relation to Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To produce and maintain a record of all amendments carried out in the Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To produce management reports as requested.
  • To liaise with the various departments in the practice for Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To provide back-up support to the help desk process, when required, and technical support for all users of Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To produce and maintain standard departmental documents and systems.
  • Any other reasonable IT based task as required by the needs of the practice.

Key Tasks:

  • To assist in the development of Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To respond to help desk queries regarding Practice Management, Case and Document Management systems.
  • To liaise with heads of department and other members of staff in relation to all relevant programmes and developments.
  • To promote the interests of Sintons at all times.
